The Village Shop hosts regular events in and around the Dicker. The Village Fete -- Dicker Day -- is held annually during summer. Art exhibitions are held in the café on a regular basis, so check this page regularly to avoid missing the next opening!

Café Nights

Come along to the Village Shop café, Upper Dicker for a fun evening of natter and drinkie-poos with the odd craft project and the occasional themed evening.

Dinner for a FIVER! Our changing, seasonal plat du jour is just £5 or choose from our cafe night menu. Kids meals from £3 and desserts from £1.50.

Children are welcome to come and play on the green while parents gossip. The shop will be open for drinks and light refreshments.

7pm-10pm on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.

Live Music: Patrick McKernan

Patrick McKernan will be back soon by popular demand. His last gig was a fantastic evening with a great supporting act, a wonderful performance by Patrick (demanding an encore.. or two) and, of course, lots of food & drink.

Dicker Day 2010

DICKER DAY ’09 was a big success, with live music, loads of local food and drink, a classic tug-o-war and messy eaters at the jelly eating competition....

AND now we're looking forward to this year's Dicker Day:

Children's Birthdays

The Village Shop is a great place to have your child's next birthday party. We are able to provide hot and cold food, drinks and a great environment to have a fun time. Phone or pop in to make your booking.
